Whether your goal is to learn self-defense, get fitter, or challenge yourself with something new, Node Grappling offers high-quality Jiu-Jitsu training in a structured, safe, and supportive environment.
Jiu-Jitsu is more than just a martial art — it’s a constantly evolving system of problem-solving under pressure. It’s strategy and movement, strength and creativity. A fight, a sport, and an art form, uniquely shaped by every practitioner.
At Node, we’ve built a community that welcomes everyone. We have different types of training programs for adults, juniors and kids.
As an official affiliate of the Mavericks Jiu-Jitsu community (founded by Jonathan Thomas and Espen Mathiesen), our members benefit from a world-class training program and a global network.

Our team combines decades of experience in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and grappling. We founded Node with the goal of creating a place where you can train, feel comfortable, and develop at your own pace.
Good training depends on good training partners, which is why we value building a friendly and supportive community. We do our best to ensure that the atmosphere in our gym is welcoming, respectful, and motivating.
Whether you’re just starting out or preparing for competition, you’ll find coaches who pay attention, training partners who help you improve, and classes that match your skill level.
Safety first - we are a martial-art gym, but we believe that safe training is most important.
Flat hierarchy - We have no masters or professors. Higher belts are a resource for learning, not a symbol of authority. Ask anyone for advice, and be open to roll with everyone, regardless of rank.
Speak up - feedback and constructive criticism is valued, speak up to help us improve.
Tame your ego - The mat is a place for learning, you tap and get tapped. Be humble and thank your training partner.
Personal cleanliness - Jiu Jitsu is a close quarter combat sport. Come to class clean with clean gear and trimmed fingernails. Wear flip-flops off the mat.
Wear what you want - we believe in freedom of expression, but your attire must be safe for grappling. Spats or shorts and rashguards work the best. In Gi classes we ask you to wear a Jiu-Jitsu kimono.
Have fun - most importantly, have fun rolling!
