We are a martial-art gym, but we we emphasize that safe training is the most important.
We have no "masters" or "professors". Higher belts are a resource for learning, not a symbol of authority. Ask anyone for advice, and be open to roll with everyone, regardless of rank.
Feedback and constructive criticism is valued, speak up to help us improve.
The mat is a place for learning, you tap and get tapped. Be humble and thank your training partner.
Jiu Jitsu is a close quarter combat sport. Come to class clean with clean gear and trimmed fingernails. Wear flip-flops off the mat.
We believe in freedom of expression, but your attire must be safe for grappling. Spats or shorts and rashguards work the best. In Gi classes we ask you to wear a Jiu-Jitsu kimono.
Most importantly, have fun rolling!
