At Node Grappling, we offer modern Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ) and Submission Grappling (No Gi) training in a safe, structured, and supportive environment.
We focus on structured learning, organizing our training around monthly themes. This approach helps students build skills systematically, understand concepts deeply, and progress with confidence.
Our training methodology is drawing inspiration from the work of Jonathan Thomas and Espen Mathiesen, from Mavericks jiu jitsu. We emphasize efficient movement, strong positional understanding, and decision-making under pressure, while keeping training accessible and sustainable for long-term practice.
While our approach is modern and sport-informed, we never lose sight of the self-defense roots of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. Students learn how to control distance, manage physical confrontations, and apply techniques in realistic scenarios, with safety always as the top priority.
We proudly welcome military personnel, police officers, and first responders, and offer a 10% discount on all training programs as a thank-you for their service and commitment.
Our kids and junior programs are built around more than just technique. Classes focus on character development, confidence, problem solving skills, discipline and self-defense awareness.
Above all, Node Grappling is about community. We believe Jiu-Jitsu is best learned in an environment where people support each other.
